    • ​Jo guzari na ja saki hum se,
    • ​Hum ne woh zindagi guzari hai.
  • ​Sher 2:
    • ​Ab nahi koi baat khatray ki,
    • ​Ab sabhi ko sabhi se khatra hai.
  • ​Sher 3:
    • ​Kaun is ghar ki dekh-bhaal karey,
    • ​Roz ik cheez toot jati hai.
  • ​Sher 4:
    • ​Kitni dil-kash ho tum, kitna dil-ju hoon main,
    • ​Kya sitam hai ke hum log mar jayenge.
  • ​Sher 5:
    • ​Haye woh waqt jab hum tere thay,
    • ​Ab woh waqt hai ke hum apne bhi nahi.
